Thanks for considering how to serve in our Parkhill Church family. Please include your name, email address, cell phone number, and select all areas that you would like to serve in. *Note serving at Parkhill Church requires a background check to be completed & approved and an interview with team leads/pastors. 

Serving Interest

Select all options that apply. 

  • Help with office tasks as needed such as printing materials, filing, assembling booklets, etc. 

  • GREETER: Warmly greet everyone on their way into the service. 
  • FOLLOW UP: Connect with visitors during the week after they attend.
  • INFORMATION TABLE: Staff the table to welcome and answer questions from visitors. 
  • COFFEE - Prepare and set up the coffee in the lobby by 9:30 on Sunday mornings. 
  • COMMUNION PREP - Prepare and set out elements on the 1st Sunday of every month. Clean up after service. 
  • HOSPITALITY - Plan and prep meals or snacks for events and classes; set up/clean-up for events.  

  • GROUNDS CREW: Set up and take down signs on Sunday mornings, help with landscaping and yard work, shovel sidewalks and parking lines as necessary.
  • CLEANING TEAM - Clean assigned sections of the Church on a weekly basis. It requires 1-3 hours/week.
  • WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEALS- Set up, cook, serve, and clean-up for the meal.  

Birth to 5th Grade:
Leaders and helpers provide childcare and conduct Bible learning classes for kids, infancy to 5th grade, on Sunday and Wednesday.

  • Kids Connect Team: Greet, Check-in, Register new children
  • Host Team: Escort new kids & families, Introduce to teacher, etc.
  • Sunday & Midweek Nursery: Leader & Assistant hold babies, monitor play & snack time
  • Sunday & Midweek Jr. 2/3, Jr. 4/5K, Rainbows: Leader & Assistant lead lesson, worship, craft, etc.
  • Sunday & Midweek 1st-5th & Kids Clubs: Leader, Worship/Game/Skits, Small Group leaders
  • Behind the Scenes: Print pages, prepare crafts, pick up supplies, etc.
  • Event Team: Help with planning, marketing, setup, registration, materials prep, activity stations, food prep & serve, tech support, clean up, etc.  

  • SOCIAL MEDIA- Create, schedule, and coordinate with photographers/videographers create a steady stream of social media post alongside varying social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, etc.)
  • PHOTOGRAPHY -Taking high-quality photos of the life of the church and community and then editing photos for social media purposes.  
  • VIDEOGRAPHY- Taking high-quality videos of the life of the church and community and then editing photos for social media purposes.  

  • BUS DRIVER & BUS TEAM- Safely transport passengers to and from church services, events, and activities. Must have a Commercial Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement. 
  • OUTREACH -Respond to needs in the body and in our local community by sending cards, organizing meals, hospital visits, etc.). 

  • IN-SERVICE PRAYER PARTNERS- Be available to pray with others during and after response times.
  • INTERCESSORY PRAYER PARTNERS - Commit to prayer throughout the week for the needs of the church, community, and world. Either in person with others or on your own time. 

  • SECURITY TEAM:  Provide security for the parking lot and entrances during Sunday services and other ministry events. 

  • AUDIO/SOUND TECH - Set up and monitor the sound for Sunday services, Youth Group, and/or other activities and events. Arrive on Sunday at 8:15 for practice. 
  • LIVESTREAM - Set up and monitor the livestream for Sunday services. Arrive by 8:30. 
  • LYRICS - Facilitate the Worship and Sermon slides for Sunday morning. Arrive by 8:15 for practice. 
  • WORSHIP - Help lead people into worship through praying, singing, and playing an instrument. 

  • LEADER: Facilitate weekly services, lead small group, assist with events and activities. 
  • EVENT TEAM: Help plan and facilitate special events for the Youth.
  • WEDNESDAY SET-UP & TEAR DOWN: Help set up and/or tear down for Wednesday night family meal and Youth Group.
